What's included
Reliable, fast hosting. Your site sits on our managed platform and is served through a global CDN, so it loads quickly for visitors wherever they are.
Free SSL certificate. Keeps your visitors' connections secure. If your DNS stays with your current provider, we have an alternative SSL arrangement - just ask.
Daily backups. We back up your files and database every day and keep them for thirty days, so there's always a recent copy of your site to fall back on.
Security at platform level. Every site is protected by a web application firewall, DDoS protection and daily automated malware scanning. If a scan finds a problem, we’ll review it and get in touch to explain what’s wrong and the options for putting it right.
Built for WordPress. Server-level caching, tuned PHP configuration and image optimisation are available as standard, plus a staging environment so changes can be tested safely before they go live.
10% off our training. Hosting clients get 10% off all our public training, from webinars to face to face courses (everything except one to one bespoke training). You won't get that from a normal hosting company.
Server-wide problems fixed at no extra cost. If something affects every site on our hosting, like a security flaw in the software the servers run on, we put it right for you at no extra charge.
What hosting doesn't cover
Hosting covers the server, not the site itself. Updating WordPress, your plugins, theme or content isn't part of hosting. That's what our health checks are for, and it's why a lot of people take both. Hosting also doesn't include email, but we're happy to advise on the right setup for your domain.
Taking both
If we host your site and run your health checks, everything is covered between us, from the server to the site itself, by people who know it inside out. You're welcome to take either service on its own, but if you'd like both, get in touch and we'll set it up.
