Tailored training and consulting

  • We offer tailored training for individuals or groups within organisations with a minimum period of one hour
  • These sessions will be delivered via Zoom at times and dates that we will agree with you in advance
  • Payment for such sessions must be received in advance of the first training session and the dates and times are not confirmed until payment is received
  • Tailored training is developed for the specific requirements of a particular organisation and our quoted price includes time spent by our trainers learning about your organisation, familiarising themselves with your requirements and preparing the training sessions. For this reason we cannot refund training sessions once they are booked unless we ourselves need to cancel.
  • If you need to change the time of an agreed training session we will do our best to accommodate you subject to our availability as long as you let us know at least 24 hours in advance of the booked session.
  • In the event of the trainee not showing up to the session with less than 24 hours notice we cannot guarantee to reschedule the session and no refund will be issued.
  • We will agree with you how many attendees there will be for each training session and you are free to send a substitute if one of the original trainees is not available.
  • Additional trainees added to the session beyond the number originally agreed will require additional payment.

Retained hours

  • We work with some clients on a retainer basis where we agree a number of hours to be available to that client during a month.
  • We agree at the start of each month how the client would like the retained hours to be used during that month, either in a meeting or via email.
  • During the monthly planning meeting we will give our best estimate of how long desired tasks are likely to take however we cannot guarantee to complete all the client’s desired tasks during the retained hours. Where desired tasks cannot be completed in the retained hours available, the client has the option to carry tasks over to the next month or to book more hours during the current month (subject to our availability).
  • Retained hours cannot be carried over beyond the end of the calendar month in which they are delivered without prior agreement.
  • The agreed number of retained hours must be paid for each month even if the work requested takes less time that the total number of retained hours.
  • We invoice for retained hours at the end of each month.
  • Our retainers have a three month notice period.

On demand / video courses

  • We offer a 14 day money back guarantee on our video courses. If, within 14 days of buying a course, you decide that it’s not for you just email i[email protected] letting us know the reason and we will process your refund.

Web development projects

  • We will provide a quotation for web development projects based on a brief agreed with the client and this brief will detail what is and is not covered within the scope of the work.
  • Once you have formally accepted this quotation we will book the work in and confirm timescales – the time cannot be allocated to the project until the quotation is formally accepted.
  • We will invoice for half of the cost of the project as soon as you have accepted the quotation and the other half once the project has been completed (as defined in the agreed brief).
  • Any work beyond the scope agreed in the brief (for example new functionality, additional pages or other content, further rounds of amends beyond those detailed in the agreed brief) will be charged at our standard hourly rate of £95 + VAT.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to satisfy themselves that the website is working as it should prior to signing it off. Once the site is signed off we will charge for any further amends, changes, corrections or issues that are identified at our standard hourly rate.

Website support

  • We can supply support on a ‘pay as you go’ basis, on a retained basis for an agreed number of hours or days per month, or on a ‘banked time’ basis where the client pays for a block of time in advance and then can draw down that time as needed.
  • Any support paid for in advance is non refundable.
  • Time booked in advance must be used within one calendar year of ordering.
  • Once a website that we have built has been signed off by the client then any further amends, corrections, changes or fixing of issues will be charged for using one of these methods.
